PROPELLER PUMP PROPELLER REPLACEMENT |

| !WARNING: RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, DISCONNECT POWER PRIOR TO SERVICING |
| STEP 1 Place the
fountain upright with the motor resting on a stable surface.
CAUTION: Do not allow the unit to fall over as damage my occur. STEP 2 Remove the nozzle by loosening the two hex head screws on both sides of the nozzle. Rotate the nozzle counter-clockwise to unlock and lift nozzle upward off the nozzle throat. STEP 3 Remove the nozzle throat from the motor mount by removing the four hex head machine screws. STEP 4 Remove the propeller shroud from the motor mount, and set aside. STEP 5 Remove the original propeller by pulling upward on the propeller. NOTE: No set screws or pins are used to retain propeller to shaft. STEP 6 Remove the rubber shaft slinger and washer from the motor shaft. Clean motor shaft and around the motor seal. STEP 7 Install new rubber shaft slinger and washer. STEP 8 Install the new propeller to the motor by aligning the splines of the propeller and motor shaft. Push the propeller downward onto the motor shaft. The propeller hub will conform to the rubber shaft slinger creating a seal to the propeller. Do not drive the propeller onto the motor shaft as this will damage the propeller and the motor. STEP 9 Reinstall the propeller shroud, throat and nozzle assembly. Insure flow straightner is installed and that the propeller turns freely. |
